Donna “Dee” Killham, 87, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball with Pastor Carla Gunn officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. to sign Dee’s register book and leave condolences for the family. Memorials in Dee’s name have been established to the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department or the Trinity United Methodist Church. The services for Dee have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Donna Lee Killham was born in Kimball on March 23, 1929, the daughter of Guy and Marcia (Hadley) Terman. She attended the Potter Schools and graduated from the Potter High School in 1946. She attended teachers college in Greeley, Colorado and graduated with a degree in teaching. Her first teaching assignment was teaching the 1st grade at the Brownson School. Later in life she was a substitute teacher in Kimball for grades 1-12. Her 1st husband Stan Juelfs preceded her in death in 1990. Dee was married to Ed Killham on June 26, 1993. She loved to travel with her husband and in 1993 she retired from teaching so they could enjoy traveling across the United States. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Ed Killham of Kimball, NE; sons Dallen (Dode) Juelfs of Lisco, NE., and Miles (Helen) Killham of Potter, NE; daughters Julie Juelfs of North Pole, AK., Lori (Terry) Kirkpatrick of Tubac, AZ., Joni (Mike) Troska of Ft. Collins, CO., and Jodi Livingstone of Potter, NE; sister Bonnie Mihevic of Denver, CO; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her 1st husband Stan.
