The K-B Puppy Lovers 4-H club followed a practice with a pizza party on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Members of the group can be seen here practicing. Members are, from left, Kaitlyn Cole, 8, with her dog Patience, Dakota Vrbas, 8, with Coco, Maddie Cook, 13, with Lillee and Mckenna Bowron, 10, (not shown) with her dog Millie. 4-H regulations state that a youth must be eight years of age by Jan. 1 to show an animal. Children younger than eight, such as Cole, are Clover Kids. Cole will not be able to show in the county fair this year, but will receive a participation ribbon. "It's good experience even though they aren't old enough" said Jennifer Gilming, a 17-year veteran 4-H leader.
