Dana L. Oehlertz

Dana Oehlertz, 60, of Lincoln, died in Norfolk, NE on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Services will be held at Indian Hills Community Church in Lincoln, NE.

Dana Lucile Oehlertz was born at Fort Hood, Texas on March 12, 1956. She is the daughter of Larry and Patricia Sterling of Kimball. She moved to Kimball with her family at the age of four and attended the Kimball schools. She graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in Omaha and moved to Lincoln to start her career at Lincoln General Hospital.

She married Dennis Oehlertz. They have one son, Max (Grace).

She is survived by her husband, son, parents, brothers, Scott (Sue) of Hastings, NE, Todd (Jean) of Las Vegas, NV., and sister, Kyla Ramirez of Gering, NE. Also, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dana suffered silently for many years with RA and finally lost the battle. She was confident of her eternal home. May she rest in peace.
