Local students gather for National Walk-to-School Day

Students gathered at the Kimball City Park at 7:30 on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Kimball Public Schools' nurse, Emily Stull, organized the event and Kimball Police Department's School Resource Officer, Stacy Schadegg led the group to Mary Lynch Elementary School.

Stull, the local school nurse, has made wellness a personal mission since coming to the position. Stull said she believes that "Children have to be healthy to learn, but they also have to learn to be healthy."
