Vonda Havice, 59 of Greeley, Colorado and originally from Kimball, Nebraska died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home in Greeley.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 21, 2016 in the Prairie West ELCA/UMC Church in Potter, Nebraska with Pastor Betsy-Galloway Carew officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Dix Cemetery.

Cremation has taken place and there is no visitation at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Prairie West Church for the window project.

Vonda Lynn Havice, the daughter of Bobbi Lee and Shirley (Schaeffer) Havice was born March 6, 1957 at Kimball, Nebraska. The family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and then to Colorado where she graduated from Highlands High School. She then attended Ames Junior College in Greeley before going to work for the I.R.S. in Denver, Colorado. She returned to Greeley due to ill health.

Vonda loved animals and volunteered helping them.

She is survived by her mother Shirley Havice of Potter, Nebraska.
