Kimball’s boy’s junior varsity team pick dup wins at Bridgeport and Gordon-Rushville and are not 4-3 on the season after winning their last 3 times out.
At Bridgeport Friday night they prevailed 61-49 with 10 players scoring. Beau Hanks scored 9 points, all in the 4th quarter, Kole Bush 10, Brady Kilgore and Corey Travis 8 each, Sam Cajero 6, Izaac Reuter 6, Brendan Walker 6, Zane Anthony 4, Grant Hickman 3, and Brayden Tyan 1.
At Gordon, Kimball won 47-39 with Reuter and Travis both with 10 points, Anthony, Hanks, and Kilgore with 6 each, Bush 4, Tyan 3, Hickman and Walker 1 each.
Kimball’s JV girls suffered losses both nights losing 56-23 at Bridgeport and 45-15 at Gordon.
At Bridgeport Jenna Greenwood hit double figures with 10 points including 1 trey, LaceyKlinkhammer had 5, Nicole Delaplane 2, Baillie Brower 2, Sierra Rutledge 2, and Carli Wrudeman 2.
At Gordon, Brower was high with 6, Greenwood had 4, Madison Wynne 2, Sheridan Magninie 2, and Klinkhammer 1. Kimball suited only 8 girls both nights, and are still looking for the first win.
