Marjorie (Case) Larson Rotter

Marjorie (Case) Larson Rotter, 86, of Tucson, Ariz., passed away in hospice care Sunday, Jan 29 at Tucson.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is planned at Santa Cruz Lutheran Church, Sat. March 4, 2017 at 1 p.m.

Memorial gifts may be given to Santa Cruz Lutheran Church, 6809 S. Cardinal, Tucson, Ariz., 85746.

Marjorie was born in Scottsbluff, Nebr., on Oct. 10, 1930, the daughter of Bert and Grace Case. They lived in Morrill, Nebr., before moving to Kimball. The family farmed and lived at the Lantern Globe Ranch, west of Kimball. Marjie graduated from Kimball High School.

She was united in marriage to Loran Larson of Potter on Dec. 11, 1949 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball. They farmed south of Potter until 1957, when Loran took a job with the U.S. Border Patrol. Together with their two children, they lived at Presidio, Texas, Tucson, Sasabe and Nogales, Ariz.

They were later divorced and Marjorie married Fred Rotter.

Marjorie enjoyed working at several retail stores around Tucson. She always faithfully entertained her family, friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for her musical talents and her kindness and love of others.

Survivors nclude her daughter Dana (Todd) Scholer, son Paul (Patricia) Larson, all of Tucson. Step-mother, Margaret Case of Kimball; grandchildren: Nathan Scholer, Tucson, Ashley (Joseph) Parker of Flower Mound, Texas; great-grandchildren: Ava and Jack Scholer and Peter Parker.

She was preceded in death by a younger brother, Donald Case, and older sister, Willa Smith, her parents and both husbands.
