Leonard R Kellner, age 87, passed away on March 21, 2017 in Vernal, Utah. Leonard was born on January 4, 1930 in Crookston, Nebraska to Hilda and Fredrich Kellner. Leonard married Patsy Kellner on January 30, 1955 in Kimball, Nebraska.
Leonard was very proud of serving his country in the Korean War with The United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed passing his time by taking his kids horseback riding and calf roping in his younger days. Took his grand kids fishing and played ball with them. He loved his time with his family. He was active in the Saint Johns Lutheran Church.
Leonard is proceeded in death by his parents Fred & Hilda, a sister Ella Larsen and a sister Dorothy Vencill, a grandson Zachary Lange.
Leonard is survived by his wife Patsy; Children: Robbie (Jerry) Boeff, Vickie (Cal) Bartels, Connie (Bud) Robbins, Tim (Nancy) Kellner, Shelly (Terry) Lange and Jeff (Lesli) Kellner; Grandchildren: Brad (Michelle) Bartels, Tricia (Andy) Steinart, Chace Robbins, Kaleigh Robbins, Derick (Lacy) Lange and 13 Great Grandchildren,
Leonard & Patsy had chosen to have funeral services together once they have both passed so funeral will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would like to have donations made to The Daniel Gurr Foundation (a soldier from Vernal that was killed in Afghanistan that was a friend of his grandson Zachary) http://www.danielgurrfoundation.org
