Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Kimball Legion Baseball, traveled to Torrington, Wyo., on Friday, May 26 and the young club came home with a loss despite valiant efforts on the diamond.
Kimball lost the first game scoring just four runs to Torrington's seven. The pitching for Torrington was stronger than Kimball's with Kimball walking a lot of hitters. Brendan Walker pitched four innings for the Kimball team and gave up no earned runs.
Torrington's hitters were also on their game.
Brady Kilgore ended 2-5 at the plate on the evening including a double, Kilgore was the only player with multiple hits. Brenden Walker gained two stolen bases.

The second of two games was rained out in the 3rd inning.
Kimball will have their home opener Thursday, June 1, against Bridgeport, the first game will kick off at 5 and the second at 7. On Friday, June 2, Kimball will travel to play at Chadron, the games are set for 5 and 7 that evening.
