Gering tourney proved too tough for Kimball Legion club

Kimball faced Ft. Morgan during the Gering tournament on Sunday, June 11. The young Legion team was defeated 11-1, but several players made key improvements.

Brady Kilgore hit a single then added a triple to the Kimball board. Colton Meilke and Cole Henton each hit a single. All three hitters were able to gain a stolen base, but, the lone scorer, is unknown.

Brendan Walker pitched two and one third innings with three strikeouts, and didn't walk a batter. Kilgore closed the game pitching for Kimball.
