Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Veterans Service Office of Kimball County will be hosting a Resource Fair, Thursday July 6, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Kimball’s VFW to assist veterans, those who currently serve and family.
This Resource Fair offers those who are interested learn more about all of the different resources available.
“As of now we have about 13 different organizations planning on coming,” said VSO Administrative Assistant Sheana Hendrickson, including, but not limited to, Workforce Coordinator, Vocational Rehab, Kimball Health Services, and Scottsbluff Veteran’s Home.
“Many Veterans aren’t aware of the resources that are available to them. Having these fairs and getting representatives from the different organizations to come helps spread the word. This fair also gives veterans, as well as their families, a chance to communicate more easily with the many organizations and speak one-on-one,” she added.
