Stephen R. Peterson

Stephen Roy Peterson, 61, of Kimball died at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Born May 17, 1956 in Kimball to Agnes E. Buddecke Peterson and Richard W. Peterson, Steve was the eldest of three children.

After graduating from Kimball High School, Steve worked at Z & S Construction with his father for several years and then began working at Castronics, where he remained until 2007, when an injury forced his retirement.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother and father and his niece Kathleen Elizabeth Peterson.

He is survived by his sister, Diana Sturgis (Jeffery) of Spring Grove, Pa .; brother, Richard Allen Peterson of Broken Bow; lifelong friend, Richard Christensen; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

There will be no memorial service or celebration of life. Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne, Wyo., is in charge of the arrangements.
