To be Fair

Local 4-H kids shared their Kimball Banner County fair animals with the residents of Kimball County Manor on the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 3. This exercise gave the participants the opportunity to showcase their projects and delight the residents, a captive and appreciative crowd. Erika Loy and Jessica Rocha organized the event. "I really appreciate that she (Erika) sees the importance of the kids coming to visit the residents too," Rocha said. "The kids did great and the residents absolutely LOVE seeing kids and animals, so it worked out perfectly!" Above, Bonnie McNees reaches out to pet a young calf.
