Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The town of Kimball can sure sing, and sing they did this past Saturday evening at the Kimball Event Center. Karaoke night at the Kimball Event Center was hosted to answer local kids’ cries of, “There isn’t anything to do here.”
Kids of all ages joined in the fun from 6-8 p.m., with pizza, music, dancing and prizes. According to Kimball’s Special Projects Coordinator Amy Sapp, the event was a good start to being able to continue hosting events like this for the kids in our community.
Following a short break more adults began showing up and the singing continued through the night with many locals having the courage to hop up on stage and sing.
“It was great to see so many people come enjoy the night,” said one audience member.
