Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
More than 200 people showed up to support the local VFW and Kimball Area Foundation this past Saturday night for the 1st Annual Veteran's Day Dinner & Dance.
Dinner entertainment was featured by the group Yes Ma'am from Bayard, who performed WWII era music along with 50's & 60's classic hits.
Following dinner, the Juke Joint Cruisers took the stage, playing classics from Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and many more. At one point, 'It's Only Make Believe' by Conway Twitty played while the dance floor overflowed with couples slow dancing.
This event was a great event for all ages, as a matter of fact, the youngest dancer was 1 and the oldest was 94. Great event for a great cause!
