Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
An easy win for the Kimball boys at Potter-Dix in a Tuesday evening contest with the Longhorns coming out on top 68-29. Sophomore, Brendan Walker, got the Horns off to a good start with an 8 point first quarter scoring spree and ended up with 12 points for the game, sharing his scoring lead with Izaac Reuter, who also tallied 12. Kimball had 4 players in double digit scoring with Beau Hanks and Corey Travis both netting 10 points each. Hanks and Walker both connected on 1 trey ball each. Kimball had 9 players get into the scoring act as Coach Luke Dea went to his bench early and often, giving lots of players some court time. Brady Kilgore had 9, Kole Bush 7, Zane Anthony 4, Austin Lulf 2 and Brayden Tyan 2.
Dylan Nielsen, 6’2” senior led Potter-Dix scoring and took the top spot for individual scoring with his 17 points going 5 for 6 from the foul line and netting 1 trey. Grant Hickman had 5 for 6 from he foul line and netting 1 trey. Grand Hickman had 4, Connor Williams 3 with his trey, Terell Gray 2 and JT Herboldsheimer 2.

Kimball also won out in a boy’s 3-quarter game 47-9. Freshman Javon Coyle led the winners with 14 points with sophomores Samuel Cajero next with 13 and Brayden Tyan with 10, including 1 trey. Austin Lulf hit a pair of treys for his 6 points and Brendan Walker had 4.
Scoring for the Coyotes were Tai Rogge with 3, Sheign Krafczik 2, Terell Gray 2, and Gage Soucie 2.
With the wins, the Kimball varsity ran their record to 4-5 and the Kimball Junior Varsity went to 5-2.
