Jowain Sherman looks forward to taking a break
The Annual Ribs and More Cook Off will continue this summer, but will be guided by different hands.
Last Wednesday, Jan. 24, Jowain Sherman, accompanied by members of the community, met with members of the James L. Eatmon Lodge and members of Kimball’s VFW Post #2243 to discuss who would take the reins of this community favorite.
Sherman, who has led this event for more than a decade, has always ensured the proceeds are given to a charity of some sort, and his biggest fear of letting the event go is that the money will not go to a charity.
