Paycen Harroun was 5th for Kimball at 12’6” and Jaden Mohr 6th at 12’0”. On a negative note, Mohr suffered a severe ankle roll on his final vault, which could keep him out of action this week. Also of note, Byron Rowley made the finals in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. The 4x800 relay team finished 7th and Beau Hanks was 7th in the triple jump at 38’3.75”. For the girls, Hannah Biesecker was 2nd in the long jump at 15’7” and Megan Spicer 5th at 14’3”. Jenna Greenwood was 5th in the triple jump at 31’3.5” and Spicer was 7th in the event at 30’11”. Biesecker also picked up 3rd place points in the 100 meter dash with her time of 13.864 and Spicer was again a 7th place finisher in 14.450. The 4x100 relay team of Spicer, Biesecker, Bemis and Greenwood ran 2nd in 53.632. Carli Wurdeman was 5th in the discus with a throw of 97’1”. Kennedy Lewis ran 7th in the 300 hurdles in 1:07.429 and was 8th in the vault at 7’0”. Coach Gene Mohr said that he is resting Sam Bemis, as she is nursing a knee, and he wants her at her best for the triple jump, especially for the District and State qualifying meet. Kimball will have their final warmup meet prior to District at tomorrow’s (Friday) Bayard B-C-D meet that has an 8:30 am start time. The District meet is schedule for May 10th at Sutherland.
