Clare May (Fenstrom) Bowlin passed away on June 23, 2018 at her home in Harrison, Idaho.
She was born at her parents’ home in Bushnell, NE, May 1, 1929, the third daughter of Charles and Alice (Broehl) Fenstrom.
She attended school K-12 at District 6 in Bushnell, NE, graduating valedictorian of the class of 1947. She attended Barnes Business School in Denver, Colorado.
She married Eugene Francis Bowlin on June 16, 1949 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. They lived in Eugene, Oregon, while her husband finished Dental college; later moving to Brookings, Oregon, where they raised their family. When he retired, they moved to Bend, Oregon and later to Harrison, Idaho.
She is survived by her husband, 5 sons-Dr. Eugene II, Robert, William, Paul and James (Rhonda) and 3 daughters-JoAnn, Carol (Patrick) Zon, Mary (Mark Paap), 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Dickinson of Medford, Oregon, and Mrs. Wesley (Charleen) Herboldsheimer of Potter, NE.
She was preceeded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law, Donald Dickinson and Wesley Herboldsheimer.
