Local youth compete in Cornhusker State Games

Naylix Tabor, pictured above, and his sister, Emmaline, competed in the Track and Field Events of the Cornhusker Games in Lincoln on Saturday, July 21. Naylix, 7, ran the 100 meters in the 7-8 year old category and won the gold medal. Emmaline, 8, competed in the 9-10 year category and ran in the 100 meter and 200 meter races. Although she didn't place in the top 3, she ran her personal best times.
