Four Winds Men's League golf winding down

The Monday-Tuesday Four Winds Men’s Golf League is winding down with the year end Fun Night Scramble help this past week, and the league champions of both night already determined. All that remains is the playoff between the Monday night winners and the Tuesday night winners according to League supervisor Pat O’Brien.

The top three winners for the Monday night division were the championship team of Jeremy Williams and Aaron Koski with second place going to Steve Warner and John Fiehtner, and third place was Berry Frederick and Pat O’Brien. The Tuesday night champs were Randy Bohac and Kevin Thomas with Tom O’Brien and Andrew Brown in second and Marty Lantzer and Brett Belgum finishing in third place.

This year the two nights will have a playoff against the opposing team of the opposite night, all the way through seventh place finishes. This means the top three finishers, already mentioned playoff, but also in fourth place Terry Lovesee and Keith Prunty will play off with Dennis Deboodt and Leo O’Hare, fifth place teams were John Morrison and Bob Abramson going against Charlie Carlson and Michael Ferguson, sixth place will be Chad Wise and Gene Golding versus Roger Dohse and Steve Graupensperger, and the seventh place playoff will be Ryan McElroy and Jon Selves versus Bob Culek and Klent Schnell.

Results of the Year End Scramble saw the team of Andrew Brown, Roger Dohse, Charlie Carlson finish on top shooting 23.5. The team of Bob Culek, Berry Frederick, Ryan McElroy took second place honors with their nine hole round of 33.5. Pat O’Brien, Steve Warner, Klent Schnell took third with 34.75, and fourth place was Kevin Thomas, Brett Belgum, Dennis Deboodt.

As I was finishing this report, I got word that the team of Jeremy Williams and Aaron won the overall League Championship on Monday defeating Randy Bohac and Kevin Thomas.
