Potter-Dix falls to Creek Valley

Potter-Dix suffered their first district loss last Friday, Oct. 4 to Creek Valley, 64-27.

The Coyotes were able to get some points on the board in the first quarter of the 2018 Homecoming game but the Storm were also able to put some points up ending the first quarter 26-14 Creek Valley.

In the second quarter the Storm out scored the Coyotes yet again 12-6 heading into half time with the Storm up on the home team 38-20.

After half time Creek Valley was able to hold Potter-Dix scoreless while putting up 12 more points to their 30 point lead.

In the final quarter the Coyotes were able to get seven more points but the Storm were able to add up another 14 to make the final score 64-27.

“We did do some things well, but we’ll make a few adjustments and continue to get better at our fundamentals as we prepare for South Platte,” said coach Frerichs.

The Potter-Dix Coyotes will head to Big Springs tomorrow, Friday, 5 to take on South Platte with kick off at 7p.m.
