Family Fun Run

The Howard family participated in the 2018 Farmer's Day Fun Run, en masse, in memory of Phyllis Howard, their mom, grandma, great-grandma and great great grandma. This year, of 62 family members, 31 were on hand to walk and run in her honor. Phyllis, a long time Fun Runner, passed away this last summer and the family offered her memorial to the Fun Run due to that dedication and her love of the event. She participated from 1982 until 2011, missing the annual event only when she broke her hip and subsequently had it replaced. According to family members, Phyllis did not begin running until she was 48 years old and she was inspired by her son, Ron.
