Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Lady Coyotes’ season came to an end Monday, Oct. 29, in Sidney against the eventual Sub-District Champions, the Garden County Eagles, but came up short and lost in three sets 23-25, 20-25, 21-25 to finish the 2018 season with a 9-19 record.
“Though we played tough in most sets at the end of the year, little mistakes plagued the team and prevented us from getting victories,” said Head Coach Cory Michelman.
Michelman is looking for the younger players to step up next season and fill the rolls the five seniors have left behind.
“This team improved greatly throughout the year and set a good foundation to build from in the future. Seniors Brooke Moench, Hannah Stahl, CC George, Erica Bogert and Sierra Wheelock will be tough to replace. They served as great leaders for our young team and pulled us through when we were struggling at various points throughout the season. We will be working hard during the off season to improve and move forward in 2019,” Michelman added.
Good luck seniors you will be missed.
