Christmas Opening in Kimball

Local children ride on the Kimball Ag Society's Christmas train through the parade of lights on Saturday, Nov. 24. It might not be the Polar Express, but these kids don't seem to mind.

Santa appeared for the Christmas opening in Kimball. He rode into town on the local firetruck due to a lack of snow.

Kimball Bakery's float is the unofficial winner of the 2018 Parade of Lights. Official results were not available at the time of press.

The Kimball Ranch Rodeo Committee decked their trailer with Frosty the Snowman, a gingerbread house with Santa's sleigh and reindeer on top of the roof and Hank, the cowdog, front and center on the float.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church participated in the parade with a small float including a nativity scene.
