The Kimball High junior varsity basketball teams saw action this past weekend with the girls losing to Hershey 50-22 and winning over Bayard 39-37.
In the loss to Hershey Jaydin Paxton scored 7 with 2 treys, Emma Martin had 8, Raven Johnson, Payton Wise, and Madison Merryfield all 2 each and Brooklin Golding 1.
Emma Martin scored on a strong move in the lane with :13 seconds left to give Kimball the points needed to win over Bayard and finished with 13.Paxton had 9 with 3 treys, Golding 7 before leaving early in the 3rd quarter with an ankle sprain.Payton Wise had 6, Raven Johnson 2, and Katie Heeg 2.
With a lack of numbers, the Kimball Boys played only 2-quarter games with Hershey and Bayard.Kimball lost to Hershey 20-14 with Austin Lulf high with 8 including 1 trey, Sam Cajero 4, and Brendan Walker 2.
In the game with Bayard Kimball won 34-18 led by Cajero with 16, Lulf 13 with 1 trey, and Walker 5 with 1 trey.
