Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Last week, the crews made progress on the retaining walls, pouring the southeast wall and the footing for the northeast wall.
Crews will continue to work on the retaining walls along the east side of the project.
It is intended to have both walls poured this week, and crews will then backfill with earth and install the drainage facilities that will be necessary to carry stormwater away from the project once it is completed.
They also will remove the curb line on the southeast portion of the project, connect to the existing storm sewer line, and pour the curb right back into place.
Traffic will continue to be controlled with a single lane open.
The roadway will be controlled by the flaggers during the day and open in both directions during the the night.
