Winning is the spring thing for horns

Jock Talk

What an exciting and exceptional week for Kimball High Spring sports!

Brady Kilgore came through with a win in the 110 meter hurdles at the Best in the West Track Classic plus running 3rd in the 300 hurdles and taking 6th in the high jump.

Then he was off to the SPVA meet in Sutherland and was a triple winner, taking both hurdles events and the high jump plus running a leg on a medal placing relay. Zach Wagner came through with an awesome performance at the Best in the West and ran 2nd in the 800 meter run with a personal best time. Several Kimball athletes had personal best at the SPVA meet.

This was the 4th consecutive team championship for Kimball in the SPVA tournament and the 5th consecutive win for Kimball in the WTC Tournament. The three seniors on this year’s varsity have been in on all of the past four season wins!

And how about this, at the WTC Tournament, all five Kimball golfers were top ten medal winners. Kimball got half of the medals given out! This is amazing! Zane Anthony was 1st, Dillon Wise 2nd, Izaac Reuter 5th, Cole Henton 9th, and Jess Sirren 10th.
