Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Mark your family calendar for two Movies in the Park this summer, July 20 and Aug. 17. The movies will begin at dark, so don’t be late.
The Goodhand Theatre will play “Wonder Park” on the 20th of July, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets and the whole family to Gotte Park.
“Wonder Park” is sponsored by the Kimball Health Services nursing staff. A new release in March of 2019, “Wonder Park” is about a magical amusement park run by a group of animals by the names of Boomer, Steve, Peanut, Cooper and Greta.
The second Movie in the Park on Aug. 17 is the well known and loved “Dumbo.” The sponsoring business is the Kim-Bowl.
The 2019 version of Dumbo is a remake of the 1941 classic, although it’s setting is directly after World War I. Baby Dumbo is born with extremely large ears and is the laughing stock of the financially troubled circus. Never fear, it is a Disney movie and Baby Dumbo and his mother live happily ever after.
Both Movies in the Park are geared to families, but anyone and everyone will enjoy these movies.
The Goodhand Theater operates on donations, sponsorship of movies, and on screen advertising.
So if your group or business is interested in sponsoring a movie at the Goodhand Theatre, the information is available on the Friends of the Goodhand website https://www.goodhandtheatre.com along with other information about the Friends of the Goodhand Theatre.
