New Firm Joins Kimball Realty Scene

Patty Haiar is not new to Kimball, but she has opened a new real estate office here – Kimball Realty at 110 W. 2nd St. in downtown Kimball.

Haiar previously worked for L.E.S. Realty in Kimball and decided it was time start her own agency.

She purchased her Kimball Realty building from Tom and Karen Hewitt.

Kimball Realty joins Century 21, L.E.S. Realty and other real estate companies in the Kimball market.

After gaining 27 years of realty experience in South Dakota, Haiar said she and her husband decided to move closer to their "grand-babies in Colorado" and "closer to the airport to fly to see the other grandkids."

She is licensed in Nebraska and South Dakota.

From a young age, Haiar said she has had interest in houses.

"I always had a passion for housing," she said. "I love first-time home buyers."

Haiar said she feels first-timers need the most help, and she can provide it.

She said she is an active board member with the Western Nebraska Board of Realtors.

Haiar is still working to get the Kimball Realty website going, but her business phone number was reserved and is now in service.

The interior of her building has been painted, and she is open for business.
