Man's Death An Apparent Overdose

An open case exists regarding the unintended death of a 21 year-old male in Kimball on Aug. 11 due to what police are calling an apparent drug overdose.

The Kimball Police Department said it continues to investigate the apparent overdose. An autopsy has been ordered, but results from the chemical analysis will not be available for a few weeks.

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office filed the coroner’s report, but the county attorney’s office had yet to release it as of Monday, Aug. 19. The man’s identity also was not released.

In other Kimball police news, three dogs were impounded over the weekend, a number of individuals were stopped for speeding, one person was charged with criminal mischief, and there were two traffic accidents.
