Here's Your Lineup For The Big Weekend

The wait is just about over.

Three days of Farmer's Day festivities begin Friday for the 93rd annual event.

Here's a look at the schedule of events. If you'd like a pocket schedule to carry around, they're available at businesses across Kimball.

Friday,

Sept. 27

3-6 p.m., Friends of the Library book sale at library's back room.

4:30 p.m., Kids bike races at Kimball Community Trail.

5 p.m., Trail bike race at Kimball Community Trail.

5-7 p.m., Soup supper at the senior center.

6-9 p.m., Cruise Night starts at Main Street Market.

6-9 p.m., Second annual Beer Fest Tasting at Chute #7.

6-9 p.m., Kickoff Street Dance with High Horses at 2nd and Chestnut.

7 p.m., Cornhole tournament at 2nd and Chestnut.

7:30-9:30 p.m., Movie in the Park, "Aladdin," at Gotte Park.

Saturday,

Sept. 28

6:30-8:30 a.m., Panhandle Pancake Feed at Eagles.

8 a.m., Annual Fun Run at 2nd and Webster.

8 a.m., Dignitary Coffee at museum on 2nd and Chestnut.

9:30 a.m., Special Recognition at 2nd and Chestnut.

10 a.m., Farmers Day Parade.

11 a.m., Car show at downtown Kimball.

11 a.m.-3 p.m., Friends of the Library book sale at library's back room.

11 a.m.-3 p.m., Kiwanis Craft & Vendor Market at West Elementary.

11:30 a.m., Parade winners announced at 2nd and Chestnut.

11:30 a.m., Free hamburger feed at 2nd and Chestnut.

Noon-4 p.m., Bounce houses at 2nd and Chestnut.

Noon- 3 p.m., Kimball Scouting Rocket Academy at Titan Missile in Gotte Park.
