One More Week Of Scholastic Sports Before Break

The final weekend of High School sports action is this weekend before the NSAA Moratorium begins on Sunday, December 22, when Nebraska schools are required to hold no practices, or compete in competition until after Christmas.

The Kimball High Basketball teams will travel this weekend going to Hershey Friday evening with JV games beginning at 3:30 followed by the girl’s varsity at 5 and the boy’s varsity at 6:30. On Saturday Kimball travels to Bayard for JV games at 2 followed by girl’s varsity at 3:30 and boy’s varsity at 5 p.m. The Kimball High wrestlers are at Bridgeport Saturday with a 9:30 a.m. start time for the Bridgeport/Sidney Tournament.

I have been assured that the Pre-Season Winter Sports Special is finally going to appear in this week’s Observer, so better late than never.
