Boys Top Hemingford

A key win for the Kimball High boys Friday night as they kept their Western Trails Conference hopes alive with a 49-34 win over visiting Hemingford. The Longhorns looked sharp with some good passing and team work with everyone looking for the open man which turned into baskets and a lot of assists on the stat sheet.

First quarter play stayed close with Kimball leading 9-5 after the opening 8 minutes of play, but the Horns turned it on in second quarter action hitting 5 treys and out scoring the Cats 18-4 to take a half time lead of 27-9.
