City Conducts Routine Disinfection Of Water Storage

The City of Kimball announced Tuesday, Aug. 26, that its water department would be doing routine disinfection that day of the water storage tank.

Due to the process, there may be some chlorine residual in customers’ water that last about a week, the city said.

The water will be safe to use for drinking, cooking and cleaning as usual.

Customers are asked to contact the city office at 308-235-3639 with any concerns or questions that they might have.
