Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Virus Concerns The Reason
Due to a recent surge in COVID-19 cases, Kimball Public Schools have postponed or rescheduled all of their activities and sporting events until January.
According to Kimball High School Activities Director Ken Smith, the action was taken due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the area, and a desire to ensure the safety of the students and employees of the schools.
At this point, the first planned sporting event after this delay will be the boys and girls basketball games at Morrill on Jan. 11.
For more information detailing the events and activities that have been postponed and rescheduled, refer the the Kimball Public Schools website at http://www.kpslonghorns.org.
For other scheduling changes, refer to the calendar section of the website and please be sure to check on policy guidelines for visitors to the schools and to extracurricular activities as there have been significant changes since the start of the school year.
