Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Chellie Autrey of Kimball, left, director of Radiology and Pharmacy at Kimball Health Services receives the Moderna vaccine Tuesday from clinic director Jess Webb. Autrey was the first of about 20 KHS staff scheduled to receive the vaccine on Tuesday. KHS received its first vaccine shipment of 100 doses on Monday. "I hope this helps convince people that the COVID vaccine is safe and they should get it," Autrey said. Webb said KHS is following Panhandle Public Health guidelines for distributing the vaccine first to health providers and hospital staff, pharmacy staff, emergency medical services and the fire department. Webb said more information from PPHD for distributing the vaccine to the public is expected soon.
