Joyce D. Evans

Joyce D. Evans, age 70, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Sun City, Arizona.

She was born on December 9, 1950 to the late Fred and Anna (Hamilton) Cox in Bridgeport, Texas. Joyce attended Kimball High School, graduating class of 1969. On April 24, 1971 she married Delbert Evans Sr. in Kimball, Nebraska.

She resided in Fort Morgan, Colorado for more than 30 years. Joyce was an active member of both Calvary Baptist Church (Fort Morgan, CO) and Summit Baptist Church (Wiggins, CO) throughout her time in Colorado. She enjoyed being actively involved in any church related activities and visiting with new and old friends.

Joyce is survived by her loving spouse of 49 years, Delbert Evans Sr .; 2 children, Delbert Evans Jr. (Chris) and Robert Evans (Diana); 5 siblings, Fred Cox (Barbara), Sue Meacham (David), Bill Cox (Lois), Sandy Bain (Jim) and Charlie Cox (Cherie); 4 grandchildren, Nate Evans (Shelbey), Caitlin Evans, Hunter Evans (Emily), Emily Evans; 2 great grandchildren, Maddox Evans and Tobias Miller; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Cox.

Private funeral services will be held for immediate family members.
