Doug Haase, 62, of Kimball, passed away January 7, 2021, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 16, 2021, at the Kimball Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view the obituary and leave condolences and stories for the family. The family requests no flowers or donations, but plant a tree in his memory; that would make him smile. The services for Doug have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Douglas Don Haase was born in Kimball on June 18 1958, the son of Don and Donna (Herboldsheimer) Haase. He attended school in Kimball. Doug was a farmer and a conservationist. Everyone in Kimball County can see this by looking around and seeing the tens of thousands of trees he planted. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Anyone who knew him also knew what a big heart he had. He would help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his companion and caregiver Bev Lyman, his daughter RaShelle Myra, his siblings DeeDee (Ron) Wall, Dar Evertson, Dalan (Lana) Haase and nieces and nephews Justin (Jen) Gunderson, Laura (Kurt) Baker, Dalton Haase and Sophie Haase.
He was proceeded in death by his parents a sister Danna Dee.
