Janna Elaine Haun, 81, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Community Hospital in Torrington, WY. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Janna was born June 15, 1939 in Central City, NE. She graduated from Franklin, NE High School in 1957 and went on to college at Kearney State College. That is where she met George Haun. They were married on May 28, 1961. Janna and George lived in Nebraska for 23 years following their wedding and then moved to Torrington, WY and have been there ever since.
Janna had many interests and hobbies. Following her grandkids’ rodeo and sporting events were her favorite activities. She loved art and enjoyed painting and spent many hours working in her yard and garden. She was also a big fan of music.
Janna is survived by her husband George Haun of Torrington, WY; daughter Trisha (Toby) Kimzey of Cheyenne, WY; son Scott Haun of Omaha, NE; Matt (Cody) Haun of Mitchell, NE; sister Lyla Beinhoff of San Antonio, TX; sister Kay Spargo of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Lyle & Ruby Johnson, and granddaughter Kaylie Haun.
