Robert M. Hill

Robert M. Hill, 75, of Kimball, died in Englewood, Colorado on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Cremation has been held and memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kimball with Father Mike McDermott officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Kimball Cemetery following the funeral Mass.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. to sign the register book and leave condolences for the family.

Robert Mark Hill was born in Glasgow, Montana on May 16, 1945, the son of James and Eleanora (Heckner) Hill. He was raised and attended school in Glasgow. Bob graduated from high school in 1964. He attended Carroll Catholic College in Montana and studied business administration. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served during the Vietnam War. Bob was honorably discharged in 1969.

Following his discharge Bob moved to Denver and was married to JoAnne Coslet on April 15, 1970. They were later divorced. While in Denver, Bob owned and operated an auto shop.

On November 22, 1989, he was married to Jacqueline Westrich in Denver. They moved to Granby, Colorado and operated a retail furniture store. They moved to Kimball in 2003 and Bob and Jacque sold retail furniture, owning the Little Department Store and later the Décor Store. He enjoyed doing anything outside, especially camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Jacque Hill of Kimball, NE; daughters Carol Henderson of Massachuetts, Krista Hill of Missoula, MT., Christine (Dan) Muse of Denver, CO., Julie Golembiewski of Kimball, NE and Merriebeth (Mark Deay-Reusch) Golembiewski of Englewood, CO; brother James (Lana) Hill of Helena, MT; sister Darleen Stratton of Glasgow, MT; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna, Bonnie and Carol, and granddaughter Alexzandra Trujillo.
