Coyote Boys Show Well At Creek Valley Twilight

The annual Creek Valley Twilight Invitational Track & Field Meet was held on Monday, April 12, and despite a prevalent cold breeze, the competitors were able to get all 17 events finished by nightfall. Potter-Dix's boys team placed third overall and its girls team seventh. Ten area boys and girls teams competed in the meet.

Potter-Dix boys highlights:

• Junior Jared Anton won the pole vault and placed second in the 110 meter hurdles.

• Junior Thomas Muldoon won the 800 meters.

• Senior Javon Coyle placed second in the 100 meters, followed by sophomore Luke Kasten in fourth.

• Luke Kasten placed third in the high jump.

• Sophomore Ben Johnson placed second in 200 meters.

• Potter-Dix's 4x100 meter relay team took first and its 4x800 meter relay team placed second.

• Potter-Dix girls highlights included sophomores Kylie Fiehtner and Jayden Shoemaker placing second and third in the high jump, and sophomore Sierra Schinker taking second in the pole vault.
