Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Potter-Dix's Coyote track and field team traveled to Chappell on Saturday for the MAC Track and Field Meet. The girls team finished third with 68 points, while the boys team placed fourth with 73 points.
Highlights for the boys included sophomore Luke Kasten placing third in the 100 meters, sophomore Ben Johnson placing fourth in the 200 meters, junior Thomas Muldoon winning the 1,600 meters with a personal best time of 5:10.24 and placing second in the high jump, the 4x100 meter relay team placing second, and sophomore Alex Anton placing second in the pole vault.
Highlights for the girls included sophomore Jayden Shoemaker placing second in the 800 and 1600 meters, the 4x800 meter relay team placing second, sophomore Kylie Fiehtner placing second in the high jump, and sophomore Sierra Schinker placing second in the pole vault.
The Coyotes next travel to Dalton to compete at the Cheyenne County Meet at Leyton High School on Friday, May 7.
