There was no information on an 8th grade graduation, so don’t know what is going on there. Hummm ...

The last day of school will be on Thursday, May 20th. No dismissal time listed, so call the school at 436-5262 if you are in need of that information.

Birthday this week include: Karin Jones, Tyler Gifford, Michael Olsen, Stephanie Cooper, Tiffany Hopkins and Brandon Stoddard. Happy Happy Birthday!

Anniversary couple of the week is Mr. & Mrs. Bill Gifford. Congratulations!

The Midwest Theater will be showing a screening of “The Silent Natural” at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 14th. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and this film is open to the public – and free.

Beginning Wednesday the 19th, Cirrus House will host its annual Block Party starting with a lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and then that evening the Pony Express Kick-Off will take place with a carnival and the arrival of the bikers at 5 p.m. Cirrus House is located at 1509 1st. Avenue in Scottsbluff.

The bikers will begin their journey across Nebraska on Thursday, May 20th, and expect to arrive at the State Capital at about noon Saturday with letters of support for mental health programming that they will gather during the ride.

Well, that’s all for now, so take care until next time.
