James L. Brown

We regretfully announce the passing of James L Brown, who passed away at his home in Dallas, Oregon, on December 14, 2021. Jim had a difficult battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and is finally at rest. He will be always loved and forever remembered.

Jim was a successful business owner, first with 2 locations of Aurora Rentals in Aurora CO and later with Brown's Hardware in Kimball NE. 

No services will take place, as Jim requested, but you may make a donation to Prairie Animal Hospital in Kimball NE in Jim's honor as an alternative to flowers. 

Jim is survived by his children, Brian (Nicole) of Patterson, California, Rebecca, Taliyah, Ben, Jade and Josh of Oregon and Nebraska, and three grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, and Mikylah. Jim is also survived by sister Jo An (Nick) Pappas of Broomfield, Colorado, and Steve (Carolyn) Brown of Brighton, Colorado. Although no longer married, Rhonda Brown continued to be Jim's caregiver for the last months of his life. The family is eternally grateful to her.
