Due to the high winds on Tuesday, the city of Kimball issued a statement shortly aftern noon that the Kimball Landfill would be closed for the remainder of the day
Some gusts were expected to hit 60 mph or more.
More winter weather was forecast, with 4 to 8 inches called for from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning.
