Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Potter-Dix Coyotes boys and girls track teams traveled on Saturday to compete at the annual Morrill Early Bird meet.
The boys squad placed sixth with 44 points and the girls team placed 12th with 7 points.
Mitchell won the boys competition with 95 points, while Crawford won the girls title with 84 points.
Potter-Dix's Luke Kasten won the 100 meters with a time of 11.78 seconds and the 200 meters with a time of 23.98.
Senior Thomas Muldoon won the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 10 inches. He also finished second in the 800 meters in 2:13.29.
Among Lady Coyotes, the highest finisher was junior Jayden Shoemaker placing third in the high jump with a jump of 4-8.
The Coyotes next travel this Saturday, April 2, to the Bayard Invitational.
