Coyotes Compete In Bayard

The Potter-Dix Coyotes track and field teams competed on Saturday at the Bayard CD Invitational. With beautiful weather and a slight breeze, the athletes had a great day for competition, and for the boys the team from Pine Bluffs, Wyo., took top honors with 86 points, and Bayard took home top honors for the girls squad with 79 points. The Potter-Dix boys placed eighth with 40 points and the Potter-Dix girls placed 15th with four points.

Wins for the boys teams included Potter-Dix senior Thomas Muldoon winning the High Jump clearing 6' 0". Other notable results included Potter-Dix junior Luke Kasten placing third in the Long Jump and 200 Meters. Potter-Dix junior Jayden Shoemaker took sixth place in the High Jump, which was the highest finish on the day for the Coyote girls team.

Potter-Dix competed at the Creek Valley Twilight Invite on Tuesday, April 12. Results will appearin next week's Observer.
