Things Hopping At The School

Good morning, Harrisburg! Here we are on the final stretch of April with May flowers on the horizon. Things will be hopping at the school in May and soon out for the summer.

In the mean time they have high school track on Friday the 22nd. at 9 a.m. in Pine Bluffs. On that same day they whole school will be involved in the annual clean-up day so be aware of them along the spur and here around town.

The following evening is Prom 2022 and then on Tuesday, April the 25th the junior high track team will head off to Leyton for a meet beginning at 9 a.m., and selected athletes will participate in the Best of the West competition in Scottsbluff on the 26th. Safe travel and good luck to all of you

Here is a heads-up ... the FFA Banquet will be held on April 28th at 6 p.m.

Up north, the SkyView Drive will be opening for the season with the movie The Bad Guy and will play on the 22nd and the 24th at 7:45 p.m. The gates open an hour prior to show time. Also, at the Midwest Theater, the Missoula Childrens Theater production will be on the 22nd. The performance is “Snow Queen” and will begin at 7 p.m.

There will be a basic self defense class at EWC campus in Torrington on April 23rd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information please call 307-532-8323.

April 27th is National Walk at Lunch Day, so there may be some groups afoot here in town; be aware.

Down south in another of my favorite theaters, at the Goodhand in Kimball ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ will play April 22 & 23rd at 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on the 24th. April 23rd there will be a painting class hosted by and held at the Vistor Center, held from 1-3 p.m.
