Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Banner County
Good morning ! Here we are well into the end of May. School is Out for the summer, whoo-hoo. Our school year will end today.
The class of 2022 graduated last Saturday and I think there were 10 classmates. As always though there are a few loose ends to tie up, one of those is state track which will take place on the 19th & 20th.
Plus that, some music students will head to Denver for the annual trip to Elitches on Saturday, May 21st.
Finally, about four students are scheduled to attend the HPP Leadership Conference on the 23rd. Then we will call it a close until next fall.
The folks at the Alliance Knight Museum and Sandhills Center will be hosting on evening which will cover at least three centuries of Nebraska history including dealings with the Native Americans and the European Americans. This will be on Thursday, May 19th – tonight! – and will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information please call 762-2384.
Over the next few months we will have many craft shows, fairs, reading programs, parades and small town celebrations in which to look forward.
Starting us out will be the Backyard Craft Bazaar held the 21st from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at 2401 Ave. E in Scottsbluff.
Also on the 21st there will be information available on homeschooling through Cappuccino and Company Classical Conversations, titled "You CAN Homeschool." For more information on this even,t please contact Marlaina Seay at 631-0676 or at [email protected].
All we have for now, stay safe and take care until next time. Barb Cross at 436-7152.
